Charitable organization «URAN Foundation» was established in 2007. Its the only founder and member is the URAN Association.
The largest projects of the Fundation are:
- realization of the NATO Network Infrastructure Grant NIG 983279
"Regional segments and implementation of new services in Ukrainian
National Research and Education Network URAN" of November 10, 2008.
This is the 5th grant NATO for URAN Network which is given
for creation of fibre optic segments and implementation of new
services with appropriate network equipment in cities of Ukraine.
- carrying together with the Student Science Association of the National Technical University of Ukraine “KPI” VII, VIII, IX and X Summer Schools AACIMP 2012-2015 (Achievements and Applications of Contemporary Informatics, Mathematics and Physics, details see http://ssa.org.ua/projects/aacimpp and http://summerschool.ssa.org.ua).
